Rebecca Almgren Puppy Training

At Chasing Tails Dog Training, my mission is simple:

To help dogs and their people build a stronger bond through understanding, patience, and positive training.

Training should be more than just โ€œsitโ€ and โ€œstayโ€ โ€” itโ€™s about building trust, communication, and confidence for both ends of the leash.

Whether Iโ€™m working with a brand-new puppy, a rescue dog finding their way, or an older pup who needs a refresher, my goal is to create a training experience that is effective, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs.

Why I Do This

Iโ€™ve seen firsthand how training transforms lives โ€” not just for the dogs, but for the people who love them. For me, thereโ€™s nothing better than watching a nervous dog blossom into a confident, happy companion.

A well-trained dog is a joy to live with, but more importantly, a dog who feels understood and safe can truly thrive.

Core Values

  • Kindness First โ€“ Every dog deserves patience and respect.

  • Education & Empowerment โ€“ I want you to leave each session feeling confident and supported.

  • Community Matters โ€“ From group walks to educational events, I believe in building a safer, more dog-loving Quad Cities.

Training isnโ€™t just about teaching skills โ€” itโ€™s about creating harmony between you and your dog so you can enjoy more adventures together, chase more tails, and share more happy moments. ๐Ÿ’›

Together, we can build a happier, more understanding community โ€” one tail wag at a time. ๐Ÿถ
